No-Show / Cancelation Policy!

You and your red light therapy are very important to us. We understand that sometimes life and things and stuff can happen.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we respectfully require a minimum of 6 hours notice.

When you book an appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other clients. In order to be respectful of your fellow clients, please contact Queen City Sculpt as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.

Any cancelation or reschedule made less than 6 hours before your appointment will be marked as a missed appointment and

will be deducted from your purchased/weekly allotted treatments. Additionally, in the event of a no-show or last-minute cancelation, you may be subject to a fee of $39 for each occurrence.

Sessions are only 30 minutes long. This includes time to change clothes and apply Hot Cream if wanted.

If you are more than 6 minutes late for your appointment, we may not be able to accommodate you.

In this case, the same cancelation policy and fee will apply.

In the event of a true, unavoidable emergency, all or part of your cancelation fee may be applied to future services.

We appreciate you and your understanding and can't wait to see you at the Suite!

The Need-to-Know's

Frequently Asked Questions

You've Got Questions. We've Got Answers.

Is Red Light Therapy Safe?

Red Light Therapy is completely safe, natural, painless, and non-invasive. This type of therapy uses low levels of heat and doesn’t hurt or burn the skin. Infrared & Red Light therapy are not the same type of lights used in tanning beds/booths, it doesn’t expose your skin to damaging UV rays. While we cannot speak for each Infrared body system on the market, the materials, sensors & temperatures generated by The Sculpt Pod Patent Protected system, have been vigorously tested to ensure safe use.

When will I start seeing results?

The Sculpt Pod process can assist with many wellness benefits and may take multiple sessions to see desired results. Benefits such as pain relief, improved mood, improved energy, detoxification, and several others can be noticed after a single session.

How often should I use the QCS Pod?

The more sessions you do, the sooner you reap the benefits! For the absolute best results, it is recommended to come in 2-3x/week, with a minimum of 24 hours between sessions.

What’s the difference between Red & Infrared Light?

Red Light is visible to the human eye and is most effective for use on the surface of the skin. Infrared is invisible and is effective both on the surface of the skin as well as penetration through the skin.

Who should avoid Red/Infrared Light Therapy?

You should never use The Sculpt Pod if you are pregnant or have a heart condition. Use caution for those who have sensitivity to heat. You must have written doctor's consent before using The Sculpt Pod if you have diabetes, using medications such as diuretics, barbiturates, beta blockers, bleeding disorders, metal implants (titanium are okay), or extremely sensitive skin.

FAQ image

Will the session cause dehydration?

If the body is dehydrated, it’s possible sweat will not be produced during the session. While the process of sweating is removing water from the body, an Infrared system will not dehydrate the body any more than an intense workout. Consuming water before and after each session is necessary.

What should I wear during my session?

For women: We recommend wearing a sports bra and/or underwear or you may be fully nude, as the lights will not penetrate through fabric. For men: Underwear or shorts is recommended.

Will the Red Light affect my tattoos?

The machine may cause tattoo fading. We suggest using a tattoo cover while in the Pod.

Is there a weight limit for using the QCS Pod?

Yes, the machine is equipped for a weight limit up to 300 pounds.

What is the sanitation process?

The Sculpt Pod is thoroughly cleaned after each use using a hospital grade cleaner.
